Analyze the impact of mass emails

Step 1:

  • Go to the module from which you sent your message ("Communications" or "Mass Mailing").

NB: The "Communication" module is linked to a single event, while the "Mass mailing" module concerns your Eventtia directory in general. It is used for campaigns with wider impact. For our example we will take the module "Mass Mailing".

  • Select the message whose impact you want to analyze. To do so, click on the three little dots at the top right-corner of each card and then on the magnifying glass.

Step 2.

  • Once in the message, click on the blue "Show statistics" button.

  • You will then have access to a graph showing you all the emails sent during your mass mailing. This graph will show you:

  1. The number of messages successfully "Delivered".
  2. The number of messages "Opened" by the recipient.
  3. The number of messages waiting for delivery : "Pending".
  4. The number of sending "Errors".
  • If you wish to have more details on the situation of each message, you just need to click on the "All" tab. This will allow you to see the sending details of each message. It will also allow you to send the message individually if the need arises. To do so, just click on the paper plane to the right of each address line.
  • If you want to go directly to sending errors, go to the "With errors" tab. From this tab you will see all messages with sending errors and what type of errors they are.
  • Bounced: These are non-delivering emails sent by our mail servers. These are emails sent back from the recipient's server that does not recognize the mailing address of the mail originally sent, or rather its domain name (eg @ To avoid such messages, read this article next: How to Avoid Spam.
  • Dropped: These are emails intentionally rejected by our own distribution system. The reasons for this rejection may be:
    • The email sent has already been considered as SPAM by the recipient,
    • The recipient's address is invalid.
    • The e-mail that was sent was considered as SPAM by the recipient's e-mail system because the e-mail contained several elements that resemble SPAM type e-mails (for example, large characters in the subject of the e-mail sent or a multitude of images that create the beautiful visual side of the email sent).
