Eventtia allows you to categorize attendees after you have created an attendee type. Follow these steps to add a category to a specific attendee.
Adding categories improves communication and simplifies reporting by organizing participants into targeted groups — for example, to follow up with those who haven’t responded to an email campaign.
Step 1:
- Go to your event in Eventtia.
- Navigate to the "Registration" module.
- Click on "Attendees".
- Click on the profile of the participant you want to categorize.
- Click on the "Categories" tab within the attendee's profile.

- Click on "Add category" to create a new category

- Enter the name of the category.
- Click "Save" when done.
Note: You can repeat this step to create as many categories as you need.
After creating your categories, select the one you want to assign to this specific participant.

Step 2:
You can add categories to each participant individually by repeating these steps.
- To edit a category name, click the pencil icon.
- To remove a category, click "Delete category".

Step 3:
If you need to export the list of participants assigned to this category, go back to the Participants module and click on Filters. You will then be able to filter by the categories you have created.
- Return to the Attendees module and add filters.

- In the filters, under the Categories field, you can select one of the categories you’ve already created. Then, click on Apply to see the list of participants in that category.

You will then be able to export the list of participants under the selected category or even select this category when sending your next mass email (communication module).
