Event attendees now have the ability to download their tickets as mobile passes, which can be accessed on both iOS and Android devices. This article will guide you through the process both for your attendees and for you.
Mobile passes provide a convenient and secure method for event attendees to store their e-tickets and gain access to your events.
When attendees arrive at the event venue, they can effortlessly access their e-tickets by launching the digital wallet app on their smartphones. From there, they can quickly find their event ticket and present it to security personnel for seamless entry.
1) First, let's look at the experience for your attendees:
After configuring the mobile pass and incorporating the appropriate tag in your welcome email, participants will have the opportunity to add the mobile pass to their digital wallet upon receiving the registration confirmation email.
They can download either for iPhone or for Android.
After clicking the Wallet button to download the mobile pass, attendees will be prompted to add it directly to their digital wallet.
After successfully adding the mobile pass, participants can easily access it within their digital wallet.
Attendees can present the QR Code from their mobile pass at the entrance of the venue or the activity rooms for a quick and efficient check-in process.

To enable your attendees to download their event e-tickets directly to their mobile wallets, please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1 - Configure the Mobile Passes for your event
To configure the mobile pass for your event, select the Registration module and click on Advanced settings.
In the Registration settings page, go to the Mobile passes tab and check the box 'Activate mobile wallet passes for your event.'
The mobile pass will then appear. You can download a sample to check how it looks like at any time.

You can add one logo for each of iOS and Android devices. Then, the strip image is common to both. For each of those images, the recommended dimensions are stated in the upload box and you can upload them just by dragging and dropping them in the dedicated box.
Don't forget to hit the Save button once your edits are done.
Step 2 - Enable the Mobile Passes in your event's Welcome Email
After successfully configuring your mobile pass, you can incorporate the download link into your welcome email. To do this, select the appropriate attendee type and navigate to the Messages tab, followed by the Welcome email tab.
While editing your welcome email, be sure to include the tag ${pass_buttons} within the content. This will enable attendees to easily access their mobile pass directly from the email.
Your setup is now complete! Attendees can easily download their e-tickets directly to their digital wallets on their smartphones, ensuring a smooth entry experience at your event.
