How to send reminders of your activities to your attendees ?
You can now automatically send reminders to your attendees before an activity starts, as well as post-activity emails after it ends. Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to configure and customize these reminders based on your needs.
Before setting up automatic reminders for your activities, please ensure you have at least one activity configured within your event. Once you have activities in place, you can enable and customize reminders for your attendees.
Step 1.
To send activity reminders to attendees:
- Navigate to your event within Eventtia.
- Open the "Program" module.
- Access "Advanced Settings".

Two types of reminders can be configured for activities:
- A pre-activity reminder (“Send the reminder before each activity starts”)
- A post-activity email (“Send the post-activity email for each activity”)

-
Enable one or both reminder types, depending on your needs.
Note: Always click on "Save" to activate the reminder
- Select how many hours before the activity starts to send the attendees reminder.
- Set up one template reminder to be sent to all your attendee types

-
click on "Save"
Step 2.
If you’d prefer to set up a specific reminder for each attendee type,- Go directly to the types module
- And configure the reminder individually:
- Click on the Messages tab to configure the Activity Reminder under “Workshop email remainder” or "Send a post-activity email for each activity" depending on wich Reminder option has been enabled.

- Then customize the email subject and body for your reminder by using available tags to personalize your message.

- Remember to save any changes after you made
To clarify, you can either send a reminder to all attendees using the Program module’s Advanced Settings by selecting one of the following options: “Send the reminder before each activity starts” or “Send the post-activity email for each activity” (or both).
Or, you can create a custom message for each attendee type if different attendee types require different communications. In that case, you can configure the message directly within each attendee type in the messages tab.
By default, if no custom message is set for a specific attendee type, the reminder defined in the Program module’s Advanced Settings will be used.
Reminder: Those reminder applies across all activities within an event. It cannot be configured per individual activity.
Warning: If you have messages configured in both places, only the one configured in the attendee type level will be sent.
