# How to upload activity sessions on your event

## In this article, you will learn how to upload multiple slots (sessions) at once for your event using the import tool. This feature is especially useful if your activity includes several time slots, recurring sessions, or spans multiple days.

Before you can import slots, you must first **set up your activities**.

Uploading slots is part of **Step 5** of the activity setup process: creating and managing sessions within an activity.

- Once your activity is created and saved, and after you have configured its General Information and Advanced Settings, you can start adding slots under the **Session** tab.

#### **Step 1 :**

- From the dashboard, go to the **Advanced Settings** of the **Program** module 
- Enable multiple sessions for activities
- Click **Save**

#### **Step 2 :**

- Go the the "**activities**" under the program module.

- Open the activity you want to work on.
- Next to *General Information* and *Advanced Settings* tab, click on the **Sessions** tab.

#### **Step 3 :**

- Click on **Actions** (top-right corner)
- Select **Import**

#### **Step 4 :**

A pop-up window will appear with the import options:

- Click **Download Template**
- Open the Excel file that was downloaded and fill in all required information for each session/slot, such as:
  
    - **Year**
    - **Month**
    - **Day**
    - **Start time**
    - **End time**
    - **Capacity** (0 = unlimited)
    - **Location**

Make sure all rows are properly completed.

- then **Save** the Excel file.

#### **Step 5:**

After filling the template and saving it:

1. Return to the import pop-up window
2. Click to **Upload** or **drag and drop** your file to add your completed Excel template
3. Click **Import** to confirm

The system will process your file and automatically create all the sessions listed in your template.

If a session has incomplete or invalid information, the system will notify you so you can correct it.

#### Step 6  :

-   Once imported, all slots will appear directly in the Sessions tab, where you can edit or delete them if needed.

- To **edit or correct** a session:
  
    1. Click on the session you want to update
    2. Modify the information as needed
    3. **Save** your changes

- To **delete** a session:
  
    1. Click on the tree dotes to select the **Delete** button
    2. Confirm the deletion
