How to Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) with Eventtia

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you access the Eventtia back office with your company credentials, simplifying and securing access without the need for a separate password. Follow this guide to set up SSO with our technical team.

Note: SSO is an add-on feature to your Eventtia license. If it’s not part of your initial contract, please contact your Customer Success Manager for further details.

What is Single Sign-On or SSO?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows access to multiple applications using a single set of credentials (e.g., your company login). Once logged in, you won’t need to re-enter your credentials to access Eventtia, making access more streamlined and secure.

Benefits of SSO on Eventtia

SSO simplifies and secures access to Eventtia for your team. By following these steps and collaborating with our technical team, you can easily enable SSO and enjoy seamless, secure access for your entire organization.

Steps to Set Up SSO with Eventtia

1. Verify Compatibility with Your Identity Management System

Before you start, ensure your company uses an identity management system (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, or Google Workspace) that supports SAML 2.0, the protocol used for SSO on Eventtia.

2. Contact Our Technical Team

Email our technical support team at help@eventtia.com, copying your Customer Success Manager.

Specify the following:

  • That you’d like to enable SSO for the Eventtia back office (and for the Eventtia On-Site app, if applicable).
  • The identity management system used by your company.

Our team will provide the necessary details to start the configuration process.

3. Obtain the Necessary Configuration Information:

  • Access the Microsoft Entra Admin Center:

  • Add the Third-Party Application:

Navigate to Identity > Applications > Enterprise Applications > New Application.

Search for the application you want to integrate. If it’s not in the gallery, select Create Your Own Application.

  • Configure SSO for the Application:

On the application integration page, select Single Sign-On.

Choose the appropriate SSO method, such as SAML or OpenID Connect, depending on what the application supports.

Provide the required information, such as the Sign-In URL, Identifier, and Reply URL.

4. Connection Testing

Once your IT team completes the setup, inform your Customer Success Manager to coordinate a validation test for the implementation.

5. User Training

After SSO is activated, notify your team that they can now log into Eventtia using the company login portal, eliminating the need for a separate password. We recommend holding a short training session to guide users, emphasizing that SSO should be used for every login.
