Connect "Mercado Pago" with Eventtia

In this article we will show you how to receive and manage payments from your attendees via "Mercado Pago"

Step 1

• Create a Mercado Pago account, once you do that, go to the module "Tu Negocio"

Step 2

• Now that you are on the module, go to the sub-module for "Configuración"

Step 3

• A page with your business details will appear and in the Management and Administration section you must go to the Credentials tab. 

Step 4

• You will be shown two options, which are Test Credentials (Credenciales de Prueba) and Production Credentials (Credenciales de Producción). If the latter isn't enabled yet, you will need to fill out the form to do so.

Step 5

• Having enabled the credentials, now you will be able to track payments from online commerces and apps. These credentials are basically the keys you will use to integrate the payment platform with other service

Step 6

• Once you have your "Public Key" and "Access Token", go to Eventtia and open the event you want to link with Mercado Pago. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Settings".

  2. Select "Advanced Settings".

  3. Scroll down to the payment options section.

  4. Choose Mercado Pago as your payment gateway.

  5. The corresponding fields will appear where you can enter your Public Key and Access Token.

• Copy and paste that information on the proper boxes and click on "Save"
