How to send payment reminders

Eventtia has a very effective communications module. Indeed, the module has a filter allowing you to sort the participants according to their different statuses. In this case, you can sort the participants according to their payment status "Paid" or "Not Paid". All you must do is write a reminder message and insert a payment button with the tag found below the writing area.

The steps to do this are as follows:

Step 1.

  • Go to the "Registration" module and click on "Communications".

  • Once in the "Communication" section, you will have the choice between the sending of mass emails or mass SMS. For a better follow-up of the exchanges we recommend mass Email, but you also have the other alternative if necessary.

  • Once you have made your choice, you will need to click on the green "Actions" button located at the top right-hand corner of the screen and then on "New".

  • You will then need to indicate:
  1. Who you want to send the message to (Participants or Guests)
  2. The Email account from which you want to send the message.
  3. If you have chosen (participants) as recipients, the type(s) of participants to whom you want to send your message.
  4. If you wish, a creation period (the inscriptions registered during the period you have chosen)
  5. Finally, you can indicate their payment status. All you need to do is indicate "Not paid".
  6. You can also sort by check-in and badge printing status, but in this case, it is optional. You can go directly to the email's subject then write down the content.

  • Write the message using the tags at your disposal. It is important to have an identification tag (e.g. ${first_name}) and a registration resume button (e.g. ${attendee_resume_registration_button}). These two tags are essential for the resumption of registration and therefore the payment of fees due.

  • Once the message is written, do not forget to "Save".

Step 2.

  • After saving your message, you will be able to get a statistic of the number of people in your audience or send a test message. If the result is not satisfactory, you can re-edit the message before sending it. The different buttons to perform these actions appear at the top right-hand corner of the screen when clicking on "Actions".
